There are several different 65-pint models produced by LG; they differ in terms of Energy Star compliance, reliability, and performance, so don’t make the mistake of thinking every LG 65-Pint Dehumidifier is the same! The LHD65EBL, by contrast, comes with 5-year warranty, which is rarely used because this model tends to run reliably for at least several years after the initial purchase.

Owner reports all seem to indicate that the LHD65EBL is the best model to purchase when it comes to a choice between these very similar dehumidifiers. It is a quieter, more reliable, and overall more solidly designed LG 65-pint dehumidifier than the LD650EAL, and appears to function more satisfactorily under most conditions. The models are usually priced within twenty dollars of one another, making this choice an apparent no-brainer; however, in some cases the tables were turned, and it’s possible that buyers will be very happy with the LD650EAL if that is the only option available.
